Can I run with my baby jogger?
Yes, you may participate in the 5k-fitness walk with a baby jogger. However, they are not permitted in any of the running categories. No bikes or blades are permitted in any race.
Do you have a wheelchair event?
Yes, wheelchairs may participate in the 5k fitness walk
Can I run with my dog?
Sure, dogs are welcome in the 5k fitness walk as well. However, owners must pick up after their furry friends!
What is the minimum age to participate?
You must be at least 7 years old to participate in the running events, with permission of a parent or guardian. Children ages 2-7 are also welcome to participate in the kids Guppy Run on the Gridiron. Registration for the guppy run includes a t-shirt as well.
If I want to run with my child, do I have to pay?
Yes, each race participant must be registered.
Can I switch events?
Yes, you can either contact Kim Bugos ahead of time at kimb@collegefootball.org or do so at packet pick-up.
Can I register on race day?
Yes, we offer registration from 6:00 a.m.- 7:30 a.m. the day of the race. An addition fee of $5 will apply for late registrations.
Can my friend pick up my packet?
Yes.
Do I get a t-shirt?
Yes, this year we will be providing runners with dry-fit t-shirts.
Do I get a finisher medal?
The top 3 finishers in each division will receive a medal.
Do I get food at the finish?
You bet! There will be a post-race party with food and refreshments.

Can I use an IPOD or similar headset?
Yes, we allow MP3 players for all races.
When is the race?
The race is on September 11, 2010.
Do you use timing tags?
Yes, we use a timing tag chip for both start and stop times.
How can I register?
You can register online until September 9. Registration forms can also be found at the College Football Hall of Fame and at Metro Run & Walk (3522 North Grape Road, Mishawaka, IN). Runners may also register at packet pick-up on September 10 from noon-8:00 p.m. and on September 11 from 6:00-7:30 a.m. at the College Football Hall of Fame.
Where does all the money go?
The proceeds are split between the College Football Hall of Fame and the Kelly Cares Foundation.
Can I get involved with the race without running?
Absolutely! We need dozens of volunteers to make the race happen. There are still spots to volunteer on your own or as part of a service group. Everyone gets a t-shirt, other fun perks and the glory of being a volunteer hero. Contact Ashley Durbin at
